I Just Can't Stop!

It may be cold and snowy outside...but it sure looks like Spring in my stampin' room! As you can see from the photos below, I've been having fun making paper roses in all my favorite springtime colors.

Aren't they pretty?...and to think I thought I didn't need this die!??? So far I just have a big ol' pile of these flowers, and a few ideas, but I haven't actually made anything with them yet.
I love how, just like in nature, each one of these roses looks different...even the ones where I used the same color card stock. The larger roses use two die cuts rolled up together. I like the look of the ones where I really scrunched up the card stock before rolling it. I learned a lot of great tips in this video by Patty Bennett.

The colors of cardstock shown here to make these roses are:

  • Pool Party
  • Wisteria Wonder
  • Strawberry Slush
  • Crisp Cantaloupe
  • Blushing Bride
  • So Saffron
  • Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations
  • Primrose Petals Core'dinations

Check back again soon...hopefully I'll have something pretty to share using some of these  flowers I've created .
